I was on a poker site online the other day, playing at a table, one of the final five, and I had this great conversation with a fellow poker enthusiast thousands of miles away. He told me he was from the United Kingdom and we genuinely had a good time conversing (primarily about poker) and play the game together.

That is one of the great things about when you play poker online or actually simply about the internet and online aspects of everything: meeting the new people. You find people who share your interests and some people you can truly enjoy being around and talking to.
